Looks like you have a good base to start from. My advice would be to make sure you are using a quality beard oil to keep your face and beard moisturized. This will keep the beard itch down and you will be less likely to want to shave.

I would recommend checking out Beardbrand’s YouTube channel. Tons of great content there as well. Good luck!

Thanks MBrashares! Right now I am using Beard Oil from Every Man Jack. I know its not the highest quality, but it smells great and does cut back on the itchiness. I will upgrade once I am able to. I already subscribe to Beardbrand's YouTube channel. I was pleased to find Jack Millocco was doing his Yeard!

You definitely have a great start and foundation. That'll really blow up as you keep growing and is gonna look sick! Luckily, we're a little ahead of you in our series, so you can go back and see what he was dealing with during each week.

Remember, it's okay to look at other beards for inspiration, but don't be too critical of your own. We're all different in the way we grow.

Thank you Josh! There are a couple of small things that I am self-critical about (one side of my mustache doesn't grow as fast as the other, and the center of my mustache is super thin) but I know that by doing this Yeard, these things will most likely correct themselves. I just have to be patient! Jack's videos have given me a lot of tips as well as good foresight for things to come!

**Side Note: Great videos and great progress, Jack!**

I will share my progress pictures with you guys as I go along this journey! I am stoked to see how this turns out!

I grew a yeard, and it was a great experience. It took perseverance and taught me a lot about myself and those in my life. I am very glad I did it. Ignore the things people will say. It's your life! The most significant thing I learned was who was a genuine friend and who wasn't. And that's one of the most important things to learn in life. You will always be glad you did it. Also use oil and as it gets longer a top coat of balm will keep it super moisturized and keep those stray hairs in place.

Thank you Nigel! I hope to gain more than just a faceful of hair from this. I am interested to see how it changes my outlook on life. They say that if you want to change things in your life, start with yourself. You are correct, perseverance teaches you about yourself, but it also shows you the fortitude you have as a man to stay dedicated! Thank you for the encouragement!

Weeks 22 and 23 of the Yeard Journey so far! I don't even mind the Whaler look to the beard. I still have 6.5 months to go before I reach final product!
