A lot of it has to do with what sort of results you want and what works best for you. There are a lot of products out there that are meant to achieve different results. So sometimes, pairing things with certain things can be more beneficial than alternatives.

For example, let's look at beard balms. Beardbrand has two balms: utility and styling. You wouldn't want to pair beard oil with utility balm, but you WOULD pair it with styling. You also wouldn't want to pair utility balm and styling balm together. For combs vs brushes, they can both help achieve different results. So pairing certain products or deciding on which way to brush/comb can depend on your desired results.

So again, it really depends on what works for you and what you want to happen. Try a variety of different products and experiment until you find what works best for you. Use videos out there to help you narrow down your search.

Yeah! Completely agreed. Whats works for you doesn't have to necessarily work for everyone. Choose a product which is au naturale and doesn't compromise in quality. The factors which can help you to grow your facial hair faster and healthier in natural way are as follows:
Firstly, A healthy lifestyle for a healthy beard: Living a healthy lifestyle will dramatically increase your overall health, making you more fit, making your skin more clear and your hair healthier.
Second, Home remedies are effective to get a fuller beard.
To assist in hair growth, there are a few natural remedies to stimulate hair follicles on the face.
Another way is Eucalyptus oil: Apply a bit on your face before going to bed.
Last but not the least is Vitamins and supplements: Intake of beard vitamins and supplements, specially those containing biotin helps a lot.
Variety of beard grooming products are available at on-line stores.

"You also wouldn't want to pair utility balm and styling balm"

Why not?  I do it most days during the work week and it seems to work well...unless it could be better and I don't even realize it.

I guess I should have said, you "may" not want to. Some people, including myself, aren't a fan of balm on balm action. Too many waxes for my taste. However, I know a few guys who DO prefer using both balms together. Sorry for the confusion!
