    Hi Chris,

I did the same thing with my cheek line.  After growing it out for a bit longer, I would go to an experienced barber and get a trim.  They should blend it in seamlessly.  Just got a trim yesterday and my beard has never looked better.

    Hi Steven,

Thanks for the reply and advice.  Glad to hear your beard is looking good!

Yeah definitely just leave it alone for now and let it grow back. It will eventually catch up "enough" to where you may be able to slowly blend is back in yourself. Although, Steven's tip about going to a barber is a great way to fix it up professionally. Regardless, don't stress out too much about it. It will grow back soon!

Leave it alone and in a few weeks no one but you will know they are different lengths.

I made the exact same mistake!  And I am doing what you are doing, letting everything grow. I notice now that I have a "ridge" on the bottom of the neckline. My thinking is that I can get an electric trimmer with a guard and just  even things up at a high setting on the trimmer.  I posted recently asking for others' advice on electric trimmers.  In my case, I can see that eventually there lower neck line will grow enough to allow it to be blended in, but that will probably be about another month or so. Good luck!

Let it grow and it will end up blending in just fine. I've had a longer beard for 1.5+ years now and I'm constantly playing with my neck line and it is never really noticeable. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Thanks to everyone for the comments and advice.  I plan on letting it grow out for a while, and then seeing if any adjustments are needed.
