    Keep going.  At 5 weeks my beard looked very similar to yours.  The photo of me below is at 5 weeks (I had trimmed the cheeks because I thought they were growing in patchy.  This was a mistake.    

    The picture below is me at 3 months.  

     

    The cheeks are going in nicely and covering up the patches well.  I hope this inspires you to continue your beard journey.

    Hi ashley, have you thought about taking beard supplement tablets to help with the patched i did and it help me out a lot didn't really belive in them till i saw the results!

    Push through! Push through! You're at that awkward "in-between" phase that we all go through. Stick it out for a few more weeks and it will fill in. You're doing everything right, keep it up!

    New beard growers are their own worst critics.  Just leave it a lone for a while and see what develops.  It's too early to decide how to wear it at this point.  Just keep growing and check back at the 12 week point.  If a few hairs get out of control, just use scissors on them only.

    Im at 5 months and still don't know.
    So apart from shaving neck and checks Im just letting it grow.
    Im hoping that one day Ill look in the mirror and think 'thats it'.
